


The Centre has secured 4 places in this year's London Marathon. Here we have a brief chat with the dedicated supporters who are going to be completing the 26.2 miles course on our behalf.
Katie Smith lives in Bury St Edmonds and completed the course last year in just over 5 hours. 'Cardinal Hume was my great uncle so I feel really honoured to be running on behalf of the Centre that bears his name. I am aiming for an injury free run and hopefully to beat my previous time.' Ciaran McAuley is a primary school teacher from Surbition. He teaches religious education at St Paul's School in Thames Ditton. The school has a long relationship with the Centre who collect annually harvest festival and christmas presents for our clients. Dominic Marshall is Head of Theology at Notre Dame Senior School, Cobham. He helps coordinate the girls’ fundraising activities in the school and they have chosen to support the Cardinal Hume Centre as the special charity this year. He is looking forward greatly to running the marathon for the Centre. Jennifer Mosley, Community Fundriaser, has worked for the Centre for two years. She completed the British London 10k Run last year on behalf of CHC and really enjoyed the experience.
