As well as being an important source of revenue for the Centre, the shop is the public face of the Cardinal Hume Centre to the residents and workers of Westminster. Members of the public and supporters of the Centre can visit the shop to buy a range of items that have been donated.
We commonly sell books, clothes, records and paintings. The shop also acts as a clothing store for the young people who use the Centre. At Christmas, the shop sells charity Christmas cards.
The shop is located on Horseferry Road and is open Monday to Friday from 10am-3pm.
Donations: The shop needs your donations and will sell anything you can give.
Volunteering: The shop depends on volunteers; indeed the manager, Ted Neville, is a volunteer himself. Most people who help run the shop typically spend around 4 hours one day a week.
