Universities

Put the FUN back in FUNdraising and help young people, like you, get back on the ladder whilst making new friends at your university.

Make a difference while having fun

Student Unions across the UK choose our charity, mainly because we’re helping people your age, right here in the UK. Here are a few event suggestions, or get creative and choose your own:

  • Nominate us as one of your RAG (Raising and Giving) charities
  • Get your society together to have a fundraising event
  • Organise a sleep-out
  • Jailbreak/ Charity hitchhike/Get Lost – 24/36/48 hours with no money for transport, how far do you think you could get? There are great apps to track every team’s progress. Maybe you’ll make it to Australia or LA?
  • On-campus events like film nights or pub quiz
  • Dye your hair for donations
  • The classic fundraiser (and delicious) - a marathon baking session
  • Virtual London to Paris cycle
  • Sponsored swimathon
  • ‘Big Brother’ lock-in
  • RAG Raids - Raids are charity bucket collections where students in fancy dress ask passers-by for donations. These can take place on campus or in busy public spaces
  • Sponsored Santa sky-dive
  • Murder mystery fundraiser
  • Football keepy-uppy – as a team, keep the ball going non-stop for 24 hours. Or a monster penalty shootout – how many goals can be scored or saved in 24 hours?
  • Auction of promises, where students, staff, companies, and local businesses offer goods or services to be auctioned
