Anniversary Mass in Memory of Cardinal Hume

June 2, 2025

On Tuesday, 17th June, we warmly invite you to join us for our Annual Anniversary Mass in Memory of His Eminence Cardinal George Basil Hume OSB, OM. The Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church, with doors opening at 6:00 pm and the service beginning at 6:30 pm. The Reverend Slawomir Witoń, Dean of Westminster Cathedral, is presiding.

Cardinal Hume’s deep compassion and unwavering commitment to those in need continue to guide our work at the Centre. His words—"Each person matters, no human life is redundant"—remain at the heart of all we do. This Mass is an opportunity to gather in prayer and remembrance, reflecting on his life, legacy, and the values he instilled.

Following the service, we invite you to an informal reception in our Family Centre, where you will have the opportunity to talk to supporters of the Centre, volunteers and colleagues.

It would be wonderful if you could join us, and you are of course most welcome to bring family or friends. We would be grateful if you could RSVP if you intend to come, by replying to our Events in box, events@cardinalhumecentre.org.uk  with the number of people in your group.
