Cathy Corcoran OBE

Cathy Corcoran

Cathy was at CAFOD for 25 years working in a variety of posts ranging from campaigning to international project work and response to emergencies. She has been a member of the Christian Aid Board, the British Refugee Council, the Disasters Emergency Committee Executive and the Board of the Jubilee Debt Campaign.

Tracey Harrington

Position:
Director of Operations

 

Before joining the Centre in March 2004, Tracey had worked within the third sector for 16 years in a variety of roles supporting the Care in the Community agenda with West Berkshire Housing Consortium in the closure of long-term institutions and the opening of community homes.  Tracey is the elected Chair of the Young Person’s Sub Group for Westminster Council and the elected Supporting People Representative acting on behalf of all other providers across Westminster; she represents both groups at the Westminster Commissioning Board.  She is a trained verifier for the Communities and Local Government working on street homeless counts throughout the UK and is a Trustee of CHESS, a homelessness organisation in Chelmsford.

Malcolm Twigger-Ross

Position:
Director of Finance

 

Malcolm Twigger-Ross

After qualifying as a chartered account with KPMG in 1988, Malcolm went onto senior financial roles within US groups - European Financial Controller with UOP Ltd, Group Chief Accountant with Diversified Agency Services Ltd.  He has spent the last ten years within the not-for-profit sector as Finance Director for the Energy Saving Trust, Head of Finance for Tearfund and Finance Director at the Centre since July 2009.  He has served as treasurer and trustee for a number of other organisations including Guildford YMCA, the Foundation for Democracy and Sustainable Development and his local church.

Anne Shewring

Position:
Director of Fundraising

 

Anne has been in the voluntary sector for almost twenty years, working for among others, the NSPCC, the Cystic Fibrosis Trust and the National Toy Libraries Association.  She has also volunteered with many others. Anne spent five years in the United States, working with non-profits there, including chairing a board of trustees for a national volunteering organisation.  She has been with the Cardinal Hume Centre for four years, firstly as the Trust Fundraiser and latterly as Director of Fundraising.

Maureen Boughton

Position:
Human Resources Manager

 

Maureen joined the Centre in February 2009 in the new post of HR Manager.  Prior to that Maureen had worked in television production initially training at the BBC and undertaking a variety of production and management roles.  On leaving the BBC she joined one of the UK’s most successful independent television producers, Tiger Aspect, where she worked for 17 years in various capacities, latterly as HR and Operations Director.

Kate Pitt

Position:
Executive Assistant

 

Kate Pitt

Kate joined the Centre in 2006 after eight years working for ITV.  She relieves the CEO's administrative burden and responds to the need for assistance across the Centre.  She liaises regularly with and supports our Trustees, acting as Executive Assistant to the Board and contributes as a member of the Senior Management Team.
