A volunteer teaching English

Volunteers play a valuable role in the delivery of our services to our clients and we endeavour to ensure that all volunteers have a meaningful and rewarding experience while working with us.  Right now, our clients are in need of certain skills and/or experiences which are listed below:

  • Can you motivate and encourage another?  Click on 'mentoring' on the side to find how you can help.
  • Do you have a CELTA or Trinity Certificate?  Help us provide 1-2-1 English support to our clients. 
  • Are you a handyperson who can give a few hours a week and support our Facilities Manager? 
  • Deliver creative learning activities to parents and children under 5 in the afternoons. 
  • Language intepreters - a qualification and/or experience in interpreting Tigrinyan, Amharic, Kurdish, Mandarin or Arabic
  • Gain experience in child care in Family Centre on Mon - Thursday mornings or Wednesday/Thursday afternoons (NVQ Level 3 in child care and/or experience in working in a nursery/creche is needed)
  • Work with young people to produce their own music using Cubase software.
