The Westminster Citizens Advice Bureau is setting up a weekly satellite service at the Cardinal Hume Centre. Residents in South Westminster will be able to get all the advice and guidance they need from advice bureau staff at the Centre just off Horseferry Road from Wednesday (April 18).
We are delighted to be able to extend our own services by having staff from the Citizens Advice Bureau on hand to offer help and support to those most in need. We are just beginning to see the full effects of the benefit cuts which were announced last year and are seeing more and more people seeking help.
The Advice Bureau (CAB) is re-locating all its services to new premises near Paddington station but is working in partnership with local agencies to ensure advice is easily accessible to all Westminster residents. Shirley Springer, Chief Executive at Westminster CAB said: “This planned change will reduce costs and maximise customer service levels, whilst ensuring we continue to provide essential advice services to some of the most vulnerable people within our community.”
