I heard about the Cardinal Hume Centre by word of mouth. My friend talked to me about it.
Now my life is so different thanks to all the support and advice I have found at the Cardinal Hume Centre.I have learnt to speak English, have got my resident permit and actually have a mentor and also I am doing voluntary work.
When I came to the Centre I couldn’t understand or speak any English. I was very dependent on people and this situation made me feel depressed, afraid, insecure. So I was very happy when I got a place to learn English.
I was able to use the creche while I attended the English class as I have a child. The creche is a wonderful service.
I am very grateful to the Cardinal Hume Centre.
Maria is just one of many people work who come to the Centre every day, desperate for help. We know that with support from the Centre, people can change their life for the better.
But we can’t do it without you.
