Several of the Centre’s services are shaking up their schedules for the Summer Programme, which runs for four weeks from Monday 29th July.

Parents can sign up for a maximum of two weeks, and come along with their children to get involved in some really exciting activities. Last year’s programme included a trip to Vauxhall City Farm (pictured) and a brilliant performance of Hansel and Gretel. This year the theme is Carnival, and the month will be filled with music and dance, arts and crafts, and outings around the city.
If you are interested in enrolling with your children, please email Jan Cleaver or call 020 7227 1677.
Meanwhile, the IT department will be running a range of weekly two-hour classes to get people in Westminster confident using computers and tapping into online resources.
Each day of the week will feature a theme, with a different sub topic each week:-
Mondays – Money Made Simple
Tuesdays – Social Media
Thursdays – Get Set for Work
Fridays – Family fun for parents and children
(Wednesday’s Job Club will be continuing as usual)
There is a maximum of ten spaces for each session, so make sure you book early by emailing Howard Ford or calling 020 7227 1656.
The ESOL department has already started running its summer timetable, with daily mixed-level conversation classes and trips out into the capital to practice what has been taught this year. These sessions will run alongside a Tuesday Book Club to encourage readers of all abilities to engage in lively discussion and debate.
We can’t do it without you.
