Expanding fundraising team

The Cardinal Hume Centre is very excited to announce that we are expanding our brilliant fundraising team and as a result of we are now recruiting for two new part-time roles; Major Donor Assistant and Trust Officer.

The Major Donor Assistant role will be working alongside senior staff as well as supporting some of the Centre’s most valuable/important external stakeholders. If you think you have the confidence and professionalism this role could be for you. We are looking for someone to play a vital role in growing our income from major donors. The Centre is gearing up to launch its own high level giving circle and this role will be vital in ensuring its success.

We currently raise £250,000 from our generous individual supporters and are looking to increase this to £500,000 by the end of 2016/17.

For the Trust Officer role we are looking for a trust fundraiser who will be able to hit the ground running. Your previous experience will have given you the knowledge and confidence to manage the small and medium sized trusts (giving between £500 and £10,000 a year). You will ensure that trusts receive high quality, relevant applications, and that they are thanked and updated in a timely fashion.

Income from Trusts has grown over the last four years and the Cardinal Hume Centre is expanding its trust programme to ensure all trusts receive a high level service and that all trust fundraising opportunities are maximised.  We currently raise £600,000 from Trusts and Foundations and are looking to increase this to £900,000 by the end of 2016/17.
