On 5th and 6th September 2015 a team from the Cardinal Hume Centre will be taking on the challenge of walking 54 miles in 24 hours and we are inviting our supporters to get involved too – why don’t you join us?

Trekfest is a fantastic challenge event taking place in the beautiful Peak District National Park. We want as many people to get involved as possible, but don’t let our ambitious challenge put you off; there are three options depending on your fitness or level of experience.

13 Miles – Stunning scenery, fantastic atmosphere and great trekking but avoiding the major climbs – a great introduction to challenge trekking!

27/29 Miles – For more seasoned trekkers who want to push themselves that little bit further; incorporates a tough climb then finishes on more forgiving terrain – a route to challenge yourself and take you up to the next level!

54 Miles – 54 miles in 24 hours is tough, very tough. It hurts; it will push you; there are moments when you will doubt yourself, but you can and will succeed with the right physical training and mental preparation – a route for those who really want to push themselves to their limits!

The Centre’s team are taking on the 54 mile challenge but you can join us for any of the routes.  This is a sponsored event and we want to raise as much as possible to help the Centre so please get involved!

If you would like to sponsor our team please donate to our JustGiving page.

If you would like more information get in touch with Patricia Marron.

Visit TrekFest for more information on the event.
