London Legal Walk 2017

On the 22nd May a team of 10 from the Cardinal Hume Centre is taking part in the London Legal Walk 2017, and we need your help to raise money!

We are walking with the Lord Chief Justice and thousands of lawyers to raise funds for Law Centres and pro-bono agencies in and around London.

Our team is raising funds for the legal advice service at the Cardinal Hume Centre and all funds raised by our team will be passed by LLST to the Centre with no deduction.

As part of its work to give homeless young people, families in need and local people the support they need to realise their full potential, the Centre provides free and accredited advice on basic as well as complex immigration matters. In addition, we also provide representation at appeal for those who cannot afford legal assistance and are suffering from poverty and homelessness due to their lack of status.

Funding for that work is incredibly hard to come by and so we are walking to raise some of the shortfall in funding.

Please support our walkers as generously as you are able
