Christmas appeal aims to raise £55K

December 15, 2025

This Christmas, hundreds of families in Westminster will spend the holidays trapped in overcrowded or temporary accommodation. For many children, this isn’t just a short-term hardship – it can lock them into a lifelong cycle of poverty and homelessness.

Fatima lives with her husband, and their three young children in a cramped one-bedroom flat. There’s no quiet place for homework or calm for their autistic daughter. Without space and support, it’s hard for children to imagine a better future beyond their present confines. But the Cardinal Hume Centre provides a lifeline.

This year the Cardinal Hume Centre directly supported 1420 clients including 710 families and 326 people under the age of 25. We tackle and prevent homelessness by helping people to secure safer housing, improve their financial wellbeing and build their sense of security and belonging.

We are aiming to raise £55,000 this Christmas to help families like Fatima's.

Will you give a gift of £30 this Christmas to help children like Fatima's dream of a better tomorrow?
