A donation helps us provide practical advice and long-term support for people facing housing, financial and personal challenges.
Support from donors helps fund:
- Housing and benefits advice that helps prevent families from losing their homes
- Employment and learning programmes so people can gain skills, build confidence and get work
- Play and activities for children to learn and grow and support for their families
- Accredited immigration advice so families can access work and essential services
- Safe accommodation and guidance for young adults aged 16–25 rebuilding their lives

Fundraise for us
Fundraising is a powerful way to support the Centre while bringing people together around a shared cause.
Supporters raise funds in many ways, including:
- Running or taking part in fitness challenge events
- Organising community or school fundraising
- Workplace fundraising activities
- Personal challenges and celebrations
Our team can provide guidance and materials to help you plan your fundraising.
Last year, for every £1 donated, 82p went towards service delivery

Volunteer
Volunteers play an important role at the Centre.
People volunteer their time and skills in many ways, including:
- Supporting activities for children like homework club and Saturday stay-and-play
- Using a professional skill to work with clients in the learning and employment team, like teaching English language (ESOL) or digital literacy
- Answering calls and greeting clients in our advice hub
- Working in our charity shop on Horseferry Road
