Fundraise for us
Be part of support that matters
Every year individuals, schools, universities, workplaces and community groups raise money to help young people, children and families facing homelessness and poverty in Westminster.
Whether you organise an event, take on a challenge or fundraise with friends, your efforts help ensure people can access the support they need, when they need it.
Funds raised help make practical support possible, such as preventing families from losing their homes through housing advice, helping people gain skills and get employment, and providing activities and safe spaces for children who may live in crowded accommodation.
Take on a challenge
Many supporters choose to fundraise by taking part in a challenge event.
This could include running, walking, cycling or other endurance challenges. Some supporters organise their own events, while others take part in organised races or community challenges.
Taking on a challenge can be a great way to raise funds while bringing friends, family or colleagues together.
There's no one way to do it. Whether you set your own challenge or join an organised event, your fundraising can be shaped around what you enjoy.

Schools and universities
Schools and universities play an important role in supporting the Centre and raising awareness of homelessness and poverty in Westminster.
Fundraising through your school or university can also help young people learn more about social issues affecting their community.
It is a simple way to take action while helping students understand the challenges some people in their community are facing.
Students and staff who support us organise activities like:
- Charity days, non-uniform or dress-up days
- Cultural or food events celebrating different communities
- Sponsored walks or runs
- Bake sales and coffee mornings
- Seasonal fairs and fetes
- Fundraising through student societies
If your school or university would like to support us, we can provide information about our work and ideas for activities that are easy to organise.

Other ways to fundraise
Our supporters raise funds for the Centre in many creative ways.
You might want to help us by organising:
- A community event like a quiz night or concert
- Workplace fundraising activities like a bake sale, charity raffle or office dress-down day
- Birthday or celebration fundraisers like asking for donations instead of gifts
If you have an idea for a fundraising activity you’d like to talk through with us, we'd love to hear from you.
