Family services
Family Services at the Cardinal Hume Centre
Family services at the Cardinal Hume Centre supports parents, carers and children in Westminster who are facing housing insecurity or financial pressure.
We understand that family life can feel difficult when there are worries about housing or money.
In our family centre and garden, children can have fun, build confidence and enjoy healthy food, while parents and carers can spend time together and find the support they need.
Because our services are all in one place, we can also connect you with other teams at the Centre if you need it.

How we can support you
We can help through:
- Stay-and-play sessions for parents and children
- After school activities
- Music, crafting, art and gardening sessions
- Homework club for school age children
- Art and music therapeutic services
- Family Saturdays to spend time together
- Play sessions for children with special educational needs, including autism, and their parents or carers
- Holiday activities for children and families
- Family trips
- Practical and emotional support for parents and carers
The staff always give us a genuine warm welcome whenever we arrive at the Centre. My youngest loves playing in the garden. He never wants to go home!

We work in a calm and non-judgemental way. We believe each person matters.
